Story

Dine in the Light of Nature

Welcome to Eos Garden, where each day begins with intention, light, and the promise of something memorable. Inspired by Eos, the ancient Greek goddess of the dawn, our name reflects a sense of renewal and timeless beauty. Just as the dawn brings warmth and life to the world, Eos Garden was created to offer a fresh and meaningful approach to Mediterranean dining.

Eos Garden is the vision of two passionate hospitality professionals whose journeys have taken them through some of the most dynamic culinary landscapes. Ilyas Ortatepe brings a strong foundation in hospitality and restaurant operations. As the owner of a successful Greek restaurant in Miami and with experience in New York as well as well known establishments such as Mandolin, he understands how to create an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, valued, and connected. His passion lies in curating experiences that go beyond the plate.

Alongside him, Chef Halit Avuka brings extensive experience rooted in Mediterranean traditions, having refined his craft in Istanbul, New York City, and South Florida. His approach is guided by deep respect for Greek and Turkish cuisine, combined with a modern sensibility that highlights both flavor and simplicity.

Together, they have created Eos Garden as a place where culture, history, and community come together naturally. The menu reflects a journey across the Mediterranean, drawing inspiration from Greek, Turkish, Anatolian, and Levantine traditions. Guests can expect vibrant meze, fresh seafood, carefully prepared meats such as shashlik, and wholesome salads that celebrate the region’s healthy and flavorful ingredients.

Eos Garden is set within a historic Miami landmark, once known as the Water Pump House, a space recognized for its architectural and cultural significance. With deep respect for its past, the space has been thoughtfully reimagined into a lush garden setting where history and modern hospitality coexist. The character of the original structure remains present, offering a unique backdrop that connects the story of Miami with the traditions of the Mediterranean.

Here, within this restored setting, Eos Garden offers a casual fine dining experience that feels both elevated and relaxed. The expansive garden and indoor spaces are designed to host everything from intimate dinners to weddings and special celebrations, all surrounded by an atmosphere that feels timeless.

Eos Garden is more than a restaurant. It is a reflection of heritage, a celebration of flavor, and a space where history, culture, and new beginnings come together with every sunrise.
